Denis Diderot was a french philosopher and writer. He was serving as co-founder, chief editor contributor. He was born on 5 October 1713 in Lagares, France. In 1751, he co-created the encyclopedia with Jean le Rond d'Alembert, it was the first encyclopedia. As a child, he was considered a brilliant student by his teachers and it was decided that he should serve the church. He stated his belief that virtue could be achieved without religious beliefs. He had stated, "the life you impose silence on me about religion and government, I shall have nothing to talk work". He was a famous person for enlightenment. He died on 31 July 1784 in Paris, France.
